Prof Philip G Ransely was the chairman of the world famous Pediatric urology unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, London. As a pediatric urologist , there is perhaps few who can equal his contribution from being the first dedicated urologist for children in London, being invited to innumerable meetings and workshops all over the world and honoured by American Academy of Pediatrics and American Urological Association and helping the initiation of the first dedicated journal to Pediatric urology help in the growth of European Society of Pediatric Urology .He has spent most of his time after retirement travelling to the developing world and helping new units stand .
It has been our great privilege and honour to have him amongst us on a number of occasions doing grand rounds, operating workshop and conduct interactive case discussion in 2005, 2007 and 2009.

Prof Stuart Bauer , a senior consultant in Pediatric Urology at Children’s hospital at Harvard is the World’s foremost expert in neuropathic bladder with no equal in the world having dedicated more than three decades in improving the care of children with neuropathic bladder along with other urological conditions in babies and children.
We had the privilege to welcome him as the president of the International Children’s Continence Society. He took the ward rounds , guest lectures and participated in interactive case discussion during his visit in 2009.

Prof C K Yeung is the world foremost expert in minimally invasive surgery and has been the the past president of International Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery Group and International Children Continence Society . He has pioneering research in the field of bladder functions which has changed the way vesicoureteric reflux is managed today and developed many new surgical techniques ie endoscopic ureteric reimplantation.
We have been honoured with Prof Yeung visiting our unit and and participating in seminars and workshop in our unit in 2005 and 2007.

Dr Tom De Jong is the chief of Pediatric urology at Wilhelmina childrens Hospital and is the senior most in Netherlands.He has made original contribution to the care of children with spina bifida and children born with duplex anomalies . We had the privilege of welcoming him to our unit in 2009 .
Dr Pat Malone is the consultant Pediatric urologist at Southampton General Hospital. His area of intersest are hypospadias and other genital surgery, antenatal diagnosis, neuropathic bladder and bladder reconstruction. He is respected International Expert in the management of Paediatric Neuropathic Bladder and Bowel, Hypospadias, Disorders of sex development and all other areas of Paediatric Urology He was with us in 2010 and stayed for 3 days and participated in clinical workshop and case discussions.
Dr Soren Rittig is the Professor of Pediatric Nephrology at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. Since 1999, he has been director of Center for Child Incontinence in Aarhus and he is the current Scientific Chairman of the International Children's Continence Society, ICCS. He also currently holds the post as President of the Danish Pediatric Society.
Dr Anne Wright is the consultant paediatrician at Guy's and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust. We were honoured to have her with us for clinical case discussions and meetings.
